Does my card get charged now for booking the hotel?

We do need a credit card to hold the reservation however it will not be charged upon booking. The credit card you use to hold the reservation will be rejected if the expiration date expires before the date of INBOUND.

Approximately 30 days prior to INBOUND, the hotel you booked at (if you've done so using the onPeak system) will charge your credit card a deposit equal to one night's stay plus tax. The charge will be processed by the hotel directly and will appear as such on your billing statement. The deposit will be refunded as long as you cancel your reservation at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date.
