What is the best way to arrive in Boston?
Airplane. If you are planning on flying to Boston, Logan International Airport (BOS) is the closest airport to the city of Boston. From here you can hop a cab, which on average costs roughly $30-$45, but may be more or less depending on how far and how long it takes to get to your destination.
Train. Amtrak is a great way to travel if you are not too far away. Just be aware Boston has three train stations. North Station is where Amtrak Downeaster trains to New Hampshire and Maine arrive and depart. South Station and Back Bay are where all other Amtrak trains in Boston arrive and depart. South Station and Back Bay are on the same train routes (when you arrive into Boston, you stop at Back Bay then 3 minutes later arrive at South Station, and vice versa when you depart). South Station is closest to the BCEC.
